Prototyping design for manufacturing

This part is a great example of using 3D printing for testing design for manufacturability. This part is very small and complex; holding the part, machining, and inspection were all challenges for creating this part. By 3D printing a test piece we could brainstorm ways to successfully achieve the client's request.

The combination of size, thin walls, and angled features made this a challenge to create in aerospace grade titanium.
